Michael David Scroggins, nine, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2011.

He attended Our Lady of The Mountain, Morris Hill Baptist Church, and was in the fourth grade at Boynton Elementary School. David was a very precious child, his curiosity and love for life touched all those who had the privilege to be around him.

David loved swimming and taking trips with his family. He enjoyed boating and building with his Papa. David is enjoying his new life with his father in heaven and will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved him.

David is survived by his mother, Jennifer Scroggins; grandparents, David "Papa" and Sharon Scroggins; brothers, Kyler Joseph Scroggins and Aiden Josiah Scroggins.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, in the funeral home chapel with Father Wise officiating.

The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. on Friday, December 16, and prior to the service on Saturday.

Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
