Edmond David Morris
Edmond David Morris, 67, of Monroe passed away July, 26, 2007, in Monroe. He was born Feb. 11, 1940, in Stigler to John L. and Roseanna (Wallen) Morris. He married Pat Scroggins on July 24, 1993, in Poteau and was employed at The Oaks Healthcare Center for 17 years as their maintenance man.He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harvey, Donald and Joseph Morris; and two sisters, Bernice Holt and Ruth Ann Bender.He is survived by his wife of the home; two brothers, Julius Morris of Stigler and John Lee Morris of California; three step-sons, Jerry Smallwood of Cameron, Stephen Smallwood of Hatfield, Ark., and Keith Smallwood of Loving; nine grandchildren; his best friend George Jordan of Stigler; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery, near Stigler, with Wayne Hoffman officiating.
